PROGRAMME FOR 2016 - 2017
Grand Hotel Excelsior, Valletta, Malta
OCTOBER 29th 2016
Slow Food Mediterranean Conference on the Island of Malta
Join us for a day of lectures and workshops on themes close to the Slow Food ethos of promoting good, clean and fair food.
We will have many international guests coming from different parts of Europe and America for a day of discussions and talks on communal subjects such as sustainable fishing, extra virgin olive oil and also how to protect and support both artisanal production and local small producers of typical Mediterranean produce.
The conference is also part of the promotion for our first Slow Food Festival that will take place next June 2017 on the Island of Malta.
